Using J-Perk with Yahoo SiteBuilder
After creating and previewing your special effect in J-Perk, you must copy the special effect code into your Web page. You can choose to automatically insert the code into your Web page by using the Auto-insert method in J-Perk's Preview Wizard. Or you can manually insert the code into Yahoo's SiteBuilder software by following these steps: Each J-Perk special effect is different. Some require you to copy more code to different locations within your Web page than others. J-Perk's Preview Wizrd will indicate which section of the Web page to insert the code into. The three possible locations for inserting the special effect code are:
To insert special effect code into the HEAD section of your SiteBuilder page, right-click your mouse while it is positioned over your Web page as shown below. A pop-up menu will appear.
Select the "HTML..." menu item from the menu and the following dialog box will appear:
In the textbox labeled "HTML Head", paste the HEAD code from your J-Perk special effect. Click OK to complete this step. To insert the special effect code into the BODY section of your SiteBuilder page, select the "Code Elements / HTML..." menu item from the Insert main menu as shown below:
The following dialog box will appear:
Paste the special effect BODY code into the text box labeled "Enter HTML code below:" and click OK. The special effect box will appear on the Web page and you should be able to drag it to any position on the page. To insert special effect code inside the BODY tag of your SiteBuilder page, right-click your mouse while it is positioned over your Web page as shown below. A pop-up menu will appear.
Select the "HTML..." menu item from the menu and the following dialog box will appear:
In the textbox labeled "HTML Inside BODY tag", paste the BODY tag code from your J-Perk special effect. Click OK to complete this step. |
